The New Urban Challenge will officially open at 9:30 am on Thursday, January 13, 2005 in conjunction with the start of the International Builders’ Show in Orlando.

During the week of the show, the New Urban Challenge will be open for tours by registered attendees of the International Builders’ Show. Tour buses will be available every 15 minutes to offer transportation between the Orange County Convention Center and the trio of homes during show hours, as follows:

Thursday, January 13, 9:30 am – 5:00 pm
Friday, January 14, 9:30 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday, January 15, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday, January 16, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

The New Urban Challenge is located in the 1,100-acre redevelopment community of Baldwin Park, located less than three miles from the Orange County Convention Center. Maps and driving directions will be available the Hanley Wood, LLC booth (#W659), as well as the January 2005 issue of BUILDER magazine featuring the project.

For your convenience, the New Urban Challenge shuttle buses will also make stops and pickups at The New American Home 2005, sponsored by BUILDER magazine and NAHB’s National Council for the Housing Industry/Supplier 100. The New American Home is also being built in Baldwin Park for its debut at the 2005 International Builders’ Show, and is available for guided tours during the show.
